This policy explains the use of cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, identifiers, and other technologies on Star Mark websites and tools. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
Purpose of the policy
This policy applies to starmarkagencia.com, starmarkrecords.starmarkagencia.com, their private areas, and related experiences. Its purpose is to explain:
- which technologies may be used;
- what they are used for;
- which are necessary;
- when consent is requested;
- how to change or withdraw preferences.
In the current public version, visual and sound preferences are stored mainly in the browser itself. Forms prepare messages for WhatsApp, and the EPK demo processes files locally. If analytics, advertising, embedded players, payments, or new tools are added, the inventory and consent mechanism shall be updated before they are activated where required by law.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file or identifier that a website stores on or reads from a device. It may last only for the session or remain for a specified period.
Similar technologies also exist:
- localStorage and sessionStorage: store preferences or session data in the browser;
- pixels or tags: report that a page or action was loaded;
- SDKs: integrate third-party functions into an application;
- device or session identifiers: help authenticate, protect, or measure;
- server logs: record technical requests, IP address, date, browser, and errors.
Not all of these technologies are cookies, but this policy addresses them together for transparency.
Categories of technologies

Current high-level status
- The experience stores language, sound, volume, motion, and environment preferences in the browser.
- Consent or refusal may be stored so the user is not asked on every visit.
- Public forms do not send data to Star Mark’s server until the user chooses to use the indicated external channel.
- EPK demo files remain on the device during the session.
- External tools opened through a link apply their own technologies.
The exact technical inventory must always correspond to the deployed version of the website.
Third-party cookies
Star Mark may integrate or link to third-party services, including:
- hosting, CDN, and security;
- WhatsApp and other Meta services;
- Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, and players;
- Google Drive or other file tools;
- social networks;
- payment processors;
- authorized analytics or advertising tools;
- dashboard and music-distribution providers.
A simple external link normally does not allow Star Mark to control what happens after the click. Embedded content may allow the third party to read or install identifiers. Where technically possible and legally required, non-essential content shall load only after consent or a clear user action.
Each provider determines the duration and use of its own cookies. Star Mark shall review its configuration, but the person should also consult the third party’s policy.
Duration and storage
Technologies may be:
- session-based: deleted when the browser is closed;
- persistent: remain until their expiration date or until the person deletes them;
- local: remain in localStorage until data is deleted, preferences are reset, or another device is used.
As a general rule:
- experience preferences remain until the user resets them or clears storage;
- the consent choice may be retained for up to 12 months before renewal is requested, or for a shorter period if the configuration changes;
- authentication cookies last only as long as required for the session and account security;
- third parties apply their own periods, which shall be visible in the preference panel where one exists.
Star Mark shall seek not to retain identifiers longer than necessary.
Consent management
6.1. Free choice
Where non-essential technologies are used and the law requires consent, the website shall provide clear options to:
- accept all;
- reject non-essential technologies;
- configure choices by category;
- later withdraw or modify the choice.
Rejecting must not be more difficult than accepting. Browsing, scrolling, or closing a notice shall not, by itself, constitute valid consent to non-essential cookies.
6.2. Prior blocking
Analytics, marketing, or non-essential third-party technologies must remain blocked until a valid choice is obtained, unless a rule permits another legal basis.
6.3. Changing preferences
The user may use the “Manage cookies” link, experience controls, or browser settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
6.4. Recording the choice
Star Mark may store the selected category, date, version of the notice, and a technical identifier to demonstrate and respect the preference. That record is used only for consent management and compliance.
Browser preferences
Browsers allow users to block, delete, or restrict cookies and local storage. They may also provide private browsing, anti-tracking protection, or signals such as Global Privacy Control.
Blocking all technologies may result in:
- loss of language or configuration;
- logout;
- inability to use the dashboard;
- failures in players, forms, or payments;
- repetition of the consent notice.
Star Mark shall honor technical opt-out signals where required by applicable law and compatible with the website. The “Do Not Track” signal has no universal interpretation; its treatment shall depend on the applicable rules and available capabilities.
Updates and contact
This policy shall be updated when technologies are added, removed, or modified. Users are encouraged to review the version date and preference panel.
